Dr. Elena Kovács

Dr. Elena Kovács is a dermatologist and certified trichologist practicing in Budapest, Hungary. She graduated from Semmelweis University Faculty of Medicine and completed her dermatology specialization with additional fellowship training in trichology and hair disorders at the University of Bologna, Italy.

Her clinical practice focuses on hair loss diagnosis and treatment, with particular expertise in photobiomodulation for androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata, and scalp inflammatory conditions. She was among the first European practitioners to integrate low-level laser therapy (LLLT) caps and panels into structured hair restoration protocols alongside medical and nutritional interventions.

Dr. Kovács has contributed to research on the mechanisms of red light stimulation on hair follicle stem cells and has presented her clinical outcomes data at the European Hair Research Society (EHRS) annual meeting. She is a member of the Hungarian Dermatological Society, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV), and the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
